چکیده
The effective management of Fusarium wilt bananas (FWB) depends on the knowledge disease dynamics in time and space. objectives this work were: to estimate intensity impact, investigate spatial temporal FWB. Fields planted with Silk (n = 10), Pome 17), or Cavendish 3) banana subgroups were surveyed Brazil, totaling 95 ha. In each field, all plants visually assessed, diseased georeferenced. incidence FWB impact yield a regional scale estimated. Genetically engineered bananas resistant to Xanthomonas wilt disease and nematodes
Banana is an important staple food crop feeding more than 100 million Africans, but is subject to severe productivity constraints due to a range of pests and diseases. Banana Xanthomonas wilt caused by Xanthomonas campestris pv. musacearum is capable of entirely destroying a plantation while nematodes can cause losses up to 50% and increase susceptibility to other pests and diseases. متن کاملFusarium Wilt of Canary Island Date Palms
Fusarium wilt caused by Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. canariensis has caused the death of hundreds of Canary Island date palms, Phoenix canariensis, in Sydney where they have been used prominently in landscape plantings. The fungus is spread in soil, by transplanting palms and on contaminated pruning implements and possibly by seed, birds and insects. Vegetative compatibility groupings (VCGs) were u...
متن کاملTemporal and spatial distribution pattern of Bullacta exarata in a tidal flat at south shore of Hangzhou Bay, China
The distribution pattern of Bullacta exarata was studied in different seasons of 2004 at south shore of Hangzhou Bay, China. We found that the distribution pattern of B. exarata was aggregated in each season by Taylor's power regression and Iwao's plot regresses methods (P < 0.001). Based on two-way ANOVA analysis, the results indicated that the densities were significantly affected by the fact...
